In their most recent attempt to keep me down in the pits of mental disparity, the MOFO'S @ Corporate security are monitoring open network ports. What does that mean???
NO MUH'F'ING AIM/CHAT!
The easy thing for them to do is to close the ports completely therefore rendering any connection to outside

I'm commenting off topic here, but Speaker For the Dead is one of the greatest books. I think I read the whole Ender series in a week after I finished Ender's Game the first time. The Shadow books are good, but you have to go back and reread Ender's Game somewhat close to it to fully appreciate how ridiculously synched up the two books are...

I agree. They are really good...
But I think I'm "Ender'ed" out for the time being.
I just finished Five People You Meet In Heaven and currently reading The Da Vinci Code.

Will prob. go back and read Ender's Shadow once I'm thru w/ that...

i dont know about Metal Gear, but we(and by *we* i mean the dirty doz. AKA the NOC) run a quake, vietcong, battlefield1942 and counter-strike server hidden in the server room.

the NOC setup an in-office LAN on a different subnet, all hooked up to its own switch so its totally stealth. but i'm rambling now....

When I said Metal Gear, I meant stealth. I didn't mean literally get Metal Gear on AIM.
You know how Metal Gear was all about being sneaky and shit...?
