I was talking to my dad about the end of the book and he doesn't think he's actually dead. He thinks the body in the coffin was the dead Death Eater and Dumbledore's gone underground. He also thinks Snape might still be working for Dumbledore, and that the two of them faked the murder.

Interesting idea and a thoroughly optimistic one at that.

Yeah, I thought about that too. I mean, how could he possibly be dead? And he would never be so certain of trusting someone if he didn't REALLY believe it you know? HOWEVER the other side is, he used the curse on Dumbledore, that Voldemort used on Harry's parents and tried to use on Harry. So unless he said one thing and thought another, which is very possible, and would explain all of the talk and practicing of the non-verbal spells, ya know? Maybe you're right, but I was still sad.....
