REVIEW
By Michael Meyers (www.rock.com)

The 31st October
2004 Suspiria Franklyn was saying goodbye to her fans at the Graz Music
Hall in Austria with her previous band "Les Baton Rouge". Something like
2000 people were with the eyes in one of the best live bands of the
decade.

This year
Suspiria is celebrating her 10 years of career with a fantastic new band,
"Suspicious", together with Caroline Werbrouck, the daring Punk singer
from "Hara'kiri" (Belgium). This duo makes Electro Punk Wave music with
refreshing originality. It might remind you of names like Nina Hagen,
Siouxie Sioux, DAF, Soft Cell or Kathleen Hanna but "Suspicious" goes far
beyond that.

Songs like "Eye
Spy" or "I Hide, You Seek" make it almost impossible not to dance and
catch your heart from the first moment on. As someone described it before,
this is some of the best New Wave music in history.

These two women
achieved worldwide exposure with their previous bands, touring extensively
in the United States and Europe, making numerous Radio Performances and
American TV Shows like "Fearless Music" (Warner Bros - Manhattan), "Chic a
Go-Go" (MTV, Fox Channel - Chicago), "SXSW Special" (Texas Live TV -
Dallas), "Live at CBGB´s" (Team Spider TV - New York) - reason enough to
obtain a hot place at the CMJ American Charts with Suspiria's last record
"My Body-The Pistol".

The secret may
be that these girls played next to some of the best artists nowadays,
surrounding themselves with interesting celebrities who admire their work
- names like Peaches, The Hives, Beastie Boys, Franz Ferdinand, Jello
Biafra (Dead Kennedys), Dick Dale, Joan Jett, Tim Kerr (Big Boys), Marky
Ramone (Ramones), Kid Kongo (Nick Cave, Gun Club) or Steve Turner
(Mudhoney).

Their future
release has the curious name "Between Your Legs" (according to the band,
the base of human kind was born between the legs of a woman). Since early
times, Suspiria and Caroline used controversial issues like pornography,
alienation, prostitution, political inclinations, sexual innuendos or
human rights.

The band is
planning to be on tour in the beginning of the summer around the United
States, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Austria, France, Spain, Portugal,
Italy and England.

I bet they can seduce everyone in the audience without even
thinking about it. You can't miss!

BIOGRAPHY

The members of
"Suspicious" grew up in two different realities. Suspiria Franklyn comes
from Lisbon (Portugal) and Caroline Werbrouck is from Antwerp (Belgium).

Together they are
"Suspicious" - a power Electro Punk Wave duo based in Berlin during 2005.
Both girls take care of the Vocals, Guitar, Programming, Crowd Teasing and
Business Entertainment. They make "Performances in Real Time". Dancing
with the crowd outside the stage and creating a catastrophe gives them an
enormous pleasure. Destruction is everywhere around us and they are a part
of it.

So...if you have
health problems it's better not to show up at their gigs, ´cause their
songs hit directly into the heart! For all the others, be careful, they
have the power to use your body as joystick without reading the user's
guide first!

Suspiria Biography & Discography

Suspiria plays
for more than 10 years. She formed the first Riot Grrrl Band in Portugal,

the New Wave band "Les Baton Rouge", which gave her worldwide exposure.
Her last record, "My Body-The Pistol", counts with the production and
collaboration of the mythical name of Tim Kerr (Big Boys, Monkey Wrench,
Bellrays...) and went directly to the CMJ American Charts, receiving
numerous raves all over the world.

To promote it,
Suspiria made 2 major tours in Europe and 3 major tours in U.S.A., passing

Carolicious Biography &
Discography

Carolicious got
obsessed by music when her brother took her to a movie from 'The Who' at
the age of eleven and never got rid of that obsession again. She used to
write several years for a Belgian magazine called 'RifRaf', doing
interviews and writing reviews about punk rock and underground bands.

But then she
found out making music herself was much more fun so she decided to play
the guitar and joined "Not Yet, The Clitpunkinvasion" (1998). Four years
later, she founded the Punk Band "Hara-Kiri". With them she toured all
over Belgium, Holland, Luxemburg and the New York area, including a major
act at the CBGB´s, together with "The Vibrators" and a whole show
dedicated to them from 'Team Spider Television' in Manhattan (USA).

Today Carolicious
is following up her solo project "Mono-Kiri", of which an album will be
released in the autumn of 2005.

"'Ha-Haha"
LP (2003) - The Twilight Bark Records
