I am but a simple fisherman

Relationships
I've put people I could think of up here but please comment if Hong Kong has spoken to your character before and I'll add them too. Seriously, I am half asleep, I thought of two non-castmates and the said "fuck it".

Also, Hetalia crew, if I've forgotten some crucial fact about our bilateral relations, please let me know.

People's Republic of China
His big bro, his father, his teacher, Hong Kong genuinely loves and respects China. Sometimes he gets a bit nervous around him, since they were apart for so long and he no longer knows how to act around him. A long time ago, China raised him and loved him and he was content with that, but those days feel like a really long time ago on a personal level- even if by nation standards it was barely any time at all.
He craves China's approval, but at the same time would like some more freedom. He feels babied by China, but knows sometimes he deserves it when he's compared to the 4000 year old nation. Sometimes he thinks China gets a bit carried away with things.

Republic of Korea
His other big bro! Hong Kong actually really likes Korea and even looks up to him a little. They were both occupied by Japan during WW2 (though for Korea it had begun a while before that) and were close during that time. After the war ended, Hong Kong went back into England's posession and Korea had his own troubles so they didn't see much of each other. But now that Hong Kong has reunified with China and South Korea and China are friends again, they've managed to renew their friendship. At the same time, Korea is insanely annoying and exhausting.

The United Kingdom
Hong Kong likes England and cares for him, and though he would much rather be Chinese than English he didn't really mind being a British colony so much. He thinks England is pretty much a huge dork. Back when he was a colony, he liked to play jokes on England and surprise him with firecrackers (he paid for this by being cursed to have England's eyebrows for all eternity).

In 2010, though he takes pride in his East-meets-West lifestyle, he still wants to be sure that he's more Chinese than English- and that the rest of his Asian family is equally certain. This leads to identity crisises but he's coming to terms with the fact that he can have two families.

Japan
In Hong Kong's time, he hates Japan but still cares about him. It's complicated. Hong Kong likes a lot of Japan's products, particularly clothes and toys, and culturally they have quite a few connections. However, Japan being from an earlier time makes things a bit awkward for Hong Kong. He still hates him for the things that happened during his occupation, but at the same time that hasn't happened for Japan yet so it's not really fair to blame him for it. He's kind of mad at Japan for not remembering World War Two, as irrational as he knows that is.

If it wasn't from the tensions caused by WW2, they'd probably get along much better than they do now. Hong Kong does still genuinely enjoy trolling him, so there's hope for their relationship in the future.

Macau isn't
important enough
to get his own pic.

Macau Special Administrative Region
Broskiiiiiiiiiiii~ Hong Kong's closest brother. They have a healthy rivalry, as many people visit Hong Kong soley to get to Macau, but they generally get along quite well and they're very close. Macau is older and was a Portugese colony for most of Hong Kong's memory, but they were able to see each other regularly, especially once Hong Kong became and English colony. After Hong Kong was returned to China, Macau followed him.

 Canada
Someone Hong Kong actually remembers. Often without prompting. A gweilo broski he actually really, genuinely likes, mainly because he's not too noisy. When one half of your family East Asia and the other half is the former British Empire, quiet is something to be valued. He also fought to defend him from Japan, even if he did surrender. They share a birthday.

 The United States of America
Hong Kong thinks he's an idiot. A well-meaning, strong, kinda cool idiot. He actually likes him and does care about him in a brotherly way, but by the time Hong Kong had joined the British Empire, America was long out of it so they never really had anything much to do with each other until WW2, and even then it wasn't anything Hong Kong specific on America's behalf.

 Konungariket Sverige
They don't have much to do with each other, outside of Discedo. Seriously, all the Scandinavians I've met in Hong Kong have been Norwegian, it's almost suspicious. Anyway, they actually kind of get along. Hong Kong likes that Sweden doesn't talk much, but is still easy to troll. He's distant enough that Hong Kong doesn't need to worry about him caring about his affairs, so he doesn't mind opening up every now and then.

Kongeriget Danmark
Someone Hong Kong has nothing to do with. He finds him kinda annoying and stupid and he's one of the few people it seems who can troll Hong Kong right back and win more often than not.

Yes, trolling is a competition. They give out medals for this shit.

Atoli
Holy shit someone who isn't a country. Hong Kong thinks Atoli is really cute and nice, he likes hanging out with her. She's so... normal. He may have a tiny crush on her. But she's also just someone he can talk to, even if she's far too sparkly for the kind of drama country's have.

The Master
Troll bait. Simple as that. Hong Kong likes talking to the Master because he likes being a dick and not feeling bad about it. He is suspicious of him though, because he gives off such a nefarious aura. But at the same time, he's vaguely fond of him and a little curious about wtf is going on in there. Not curious enough to be bothered asking, but still. There is love here, I promise.

 Taiwan
Jehje ;o;bbbbb
Hong Kong adores Taiwan. No, really, he does. After Macau, she's the sibling he feels closest too and the one closest to his age. Because he's part of China and thus has his foreign policy decided by him, he tends to see Taiwan more on the same level as him than their other siblings (who are all "countries") and part of him would really like for her to move back in with him and China. However, he also knows she's happier independant and that comes first, so occasionally he weakly tries to stand up for her. Occasionally.
Apart from this, he still has his duties as her younger brother to fufill. This means teasing, insulting, embarassing and anything else he can think of are all fair game. Normally he'd be nicer to a cute girl, but as everyone knows, sisters aren't really girls. He's still a total pushover for her though and lets her boss him around whenever she wants. He gets a little jealous over how close she is to Japan.

Namine

They've only spoken once or twice briefly, so Hong Kong doesn't really know her all that well. He was effected by her chip event and made to forget reunifying with China, but he never figured out that was her fault. He thinks she's a fairly cute girl and that she seems nice enough, but she's not someone he thinks of often.
Oh, and the first time he saw her, she'd just been brutally murdered. But he was a little busy focusing on England's mutilated corpse right next to her, so he really just registered "oh wow poor girl" before completely ignoring her.
