this was amazing! I even teared up at a few points. You captured the characters so well, and it was beautifully written.
I've had a soft spot for Tony/Cassie since the club scene in season 2, so this made me extremely happy.

I love you for this. I genuinely love you for this.
I've slways adored the idea of Tony/Cassie, but since they never *actually* happened, I've never been able to work out how exactly they would get on as a couple. However, this story is not only beautiful and well-written, their relationship makes *sense*.
(Also, you've been able to capture the little things about these characters that make them who they are-like Sid sniffing before he speaks. It's fantastic.)
So, yeah. I love you.

i absolutely adore this. tony/cassie were my first skins couple, strangely enough. over time, i fell in love with tony/michelle (to see her act all huffy/jealous had me irritated at first, as writers tend to write michelle and/or sid as the bad guy in tony/cassie fics, but luckily she was redeemed!) but tony/cass will forever have a soft spot in my heart. what had me even more giddy was the cook/naomi. i love how you kind of worked them into this fic, too. this was a great read! i hope to see more.

this was fantastic. beautifully written, and the pacing is great - it's really hard to portray a relationship developing over a long period of time and this just nailed it.

"Effy is easily the most beautiful girl Cassie has ever seen. But that’s to be expected. She is so much like Tony. They have the same narrow eyes, the same curved mouths, the same dark hair. And their hearts and minds, their souls, are equally as dark, twisted in a way that Cassie can sympathize with even if she can never fully understand. The two of them, they’re a matched set."

I adore that. So true, so believable, and shows how you made T/C so believable - she accepts him without needing to understand him, the way Michelle/Sid never could.

I'm planning a tony/cassie fic incidentally, but my idea's different from this :) hope you'll check it out when i eventually get round to writing it, but i don't think it could be as good as this one!

This is really well written - lots of excellent and original similies and metaphors, lots of terrific imagery, characters are consistent and believable (except for sometimes I don't think Cassie would be like the Cassie you have here, but still the Cassie you've shown is still a consistent and believable character). I think it's great how, like in the series, the books Tony is shown reading are relating to the situation he's in. I think Tony's dialogue is pretty spot-on too. I love how the second generation is shown in the story too (except, was Emily mentioned at all? maybe I just missed that, but that's no big deal). I love how Tony doesn't like Freddie (neither do I) and I like how he sees Michelle in Freddie - I thought that was really interesting. And, lastly, I've always been a fan of Tony/Cassie (well, Tony/anyone, but Tony/Cassie especially - even made a fan mix and everything for them, I love them so!).

Anyway, well done! Read and loved the whole thing.
