one of the most emailed stories in the Times this weekend is the article proclaiming the impending arrival of Trader Joe's in Union Square. Take that, Whole Foods! oooooh i can't wait.

Trader Joe's is actually quite evil in that they, like Walmart, bully suppliers into selling them things for ridiculously low prices (ask Rob about it sometime...he has some horror stories about Trader Joe's bullying horticulturalists for orchids)

oh sadness. well i went to whole foods yesterday and was, as usual, enthralled. they stock Almond Sunset!
