Silly Putty and Band Aids

Look. I'm only going to write this once so pay attention. I suppose you could read it as many times as you want.

Aradia's computer decided to go kaput, so I haven't updated for a while. AGAIN!I have my computer back, but it's still not 100% right. It works really well sometimes, like now, but other times it really lags. I keep messing with it ( Read more... )

I really miss seeing you on here and also seeing your new Youtube stuff. I think about you and Julie all the time and keep you guys in my prayers. It looks devastating when i see footage on TV. I'm glad you guys are safe, though. Poor Julie! Won't the doctors give her anything for pain? She really needs it, she won't get better if she's just enduring it.

Take care of yourselves!

Glad to know you're okay. My brother has water in his basement but he and his family are fine. He lives about 10 blocks from Sokol park. My nephew off Ellis couldn't get to his house but he and his stuff is fine and my brother who lives over by Coe was fine as well. I think my brother who works for Quaker will be going back to work in the next week or two. Everybody else has been back for a while.

Take care of Julie and update more often.

Wow. Please take care out there.

The next thing I would try on your computer would be running diagnostics on both the new memory, the CPU, and on the motherboard. I have had one CPU go bad at work (though it still manages to open and close a switch). I've had three motherboard failures over the years. Though it might be unlikely, run some disk maintenance programs and some anti-spyware programs like Ad-Aware (it's free) just to be sure there is nothing else on your PC. Just in case you haven't done so already.

That's bad news about the auto accidents. We had some harrowing adventures with cars recently, but no accidents. What are you doing for Julie's pain?

It's going to be up to you and your fellow city dwellers to make FEMA and other agencies deliver on their missions. Otherwise you might wind up like New Orleans.

Hey, if work gets too hard to reach, you might try your hand at writing. Write about your experiences in the last few months, and call it "Journal of the Flood Year."
