I beg to differ on the cuteness of that picture. The panda doesn't much seem to like behind held, and I think the get-up David has to wear attests to the unnaturalness of the situation. Nevertheless, pandas in general are cute and I hope you enjoy your opportunity to see one.
I hope you get to see Tibet, too. Despite all my traveling this fall, that's definitely one place I'll have to miss and probably won't have many more opportunities to see.
David said he didn't know how to hold it and was scared of dropping it. You have to hold them like a baby and David has never really held a baby before...
I guess it is unnatural. Never mind my excitement anymore.
I'm sure you'll get to Tibet someday. Maybe EF Tours will make Mystical Tibet their new hot trip next summer. And if you never go, I really don't think it's that big of a deal. I mean, how many countries are you visiting this year? 13? That's ridiculous. I'd give anything to do that. Even giving up an expensive trip to Tibet.
Well, EF is already offering an Around the World trip, so it's not out of the questions . . . but for some reason I think that Tibet should be experienced less structurally.

I looked into getting a visa for Tibet and they'll only give one to you if you are part of an approved tour group.
But now I think we're going to go to Thailand before classes start because we don't need a visa and go to Tibet later in the summer.
