beautiful.

And is that the flash of your camera reflected in the window, oh Dr. Tim?

Actually no. That photo was taken by a friend of Grandma's when they went over to see the place several months ago. She was initially looking at a different house for us when she saw this one and stopped. They were still building it and were working on the landscaping. The builder was there and gave them a tour. I guess it is either Grandma's friend's flash or the reflection of the dun off the car window.

We loved the photos and decided that this house was the one we wanted, even before actually seeing the place. It kind of has a lodge look to it, which we love.

It is pretty cool. Love the coffered ceiling. It has recessed lighing too. The big desk and bookcase unit is walnut which compliments the Brazilian black walnut floors.

So exciting! It's going to be soooo fun picking out furniture and making it a home. :-)

I'm OK. Tests all came out fine and I'm just recovering now. Been a little rougher than expected, but I'm hoping to turn the corner in another couple of days. I'll write when I'm over the hump, so to speak. :-)

No humping. Something might shift. lol

Take care of yourself and get some rest. You don't want bags under those pretty eyes.

I just wanted you to know that someone on the European continent was thinking about you.

Hugz and lixx.

Wow. That's a lot of house! How many sq. ft.?

I love the stone work outside.

Yep. I immediately loved the house as soon as I saw the stacked stone front. I always wanted to live in a stone house.

There are 5400 sq feet under air conditioning and a total of 6800 sq feet altogether. It is a big house, especially for a single story. The minimum ceiling height is 10 feet.
