Oh, noooooo. You should definitely read it. I read the first one in 8th grade, and fell in love. New Moon, I fell in love with Jacob. Eclipse I thought was terrible, but Breaking Dawn is... interesting.

Is it the best series in the world? Holycrapno. But I do say~, give it a chance.

Hmmm.. I might ask my friend if I can borrow the series so I can figure out my thoughts on it. Some people's descriptions of it make me think I'd loathe it, but other's are... intriguing.

I say, just start reading the first one. But do NOT start reading it with a negative attitude. I mean, don't go into it looking for everything that's wrong with it. I did that with the 4th book, and well, hated it at first. ;D But after I stopped nit-picking, psh, its a nice guilty pleasure. :]

Heya, most gracious and winningest of mods. 'scuse me tacking this comment to your post.

The 100_snapshot list 2 poll was just about in favour of dropping 'anime' in favour of 'animated', which makes sense. Those that wanted it to stay don't seem rabid about it, and any photos already taken will still be valid.

One problem, I can't edit your entry to change the list... when you've got a moment, can you change it? Thank you :D One of us should mention it in a brief post, too, just so no one is left knocking their head against a wall trying to fill 'anime'.

Also, everyone is addicted to clicky boxes, and no-one thinks neurosurgery is a good prompt (I had high hopes for this, too, with images of people breaking into hospitals ... nevermind).

Are you going to do a single Halloween photo competition? I'd be happy to do a one-off banner for the winner.

I hadn't thought about a Halloween photo competition. But I think its a great idea. You're welcome to start it up yourself, or I could do it. Whatever works. ;3

Argh, no I have no idea how to make an entry modifiable by all mods (It seemed as though I could have deleted your post but not made changes, which is bizarre). I'll go ahead and announce a Halloween competition, and while I'm writing the post see if I can see any way to open it up to other mods to edit.

Oh, and I have friended you because you seem to be made of considerable win :)

Just curious if you want any help in tagging the back entries on 100_snapshots. I'd start from the back and work my way forward... and gladly give up any moderator status once the job was done : )
