Weekend continued
Saturday 9/6 - Went to the branch. No clip order to do so I painted my nails. Played phone tag with Simmoen trying to figure out if she was going to make it to the event. Whirling dervish life
Friday 9/5 - Picked up a bag of assorted coffee, tea and cups from an Asian lady in Shorewood. Had some cool stuff in it. Actually have some nice plain white china cups and saucers now. The temporary Halloween stores are open now so I stopped at one to find a white wig for my ghost/banshee outfit. Wanted a plain long white. Found a styles white ( Read more... ) -

More Fairy Fest pics

John had the wrong light setting on the camera and all the ones when I was posing alone (before Randy came over) were too dark. Anytime I start watching something on YouTube I seem to fall into a bottomless pit. :) Not that I mind too terribly.
On the way to John's office is a guy with a garden train (though we've only seen the tracks, not the actual train).
In Popular Mechanics this month was an ad for a company that makes them. They have a nice video on the site.

Fairy Fest 2008
I only picked the best ones to post. One with my niece and me in a cemetary on the way to Aurora on Route 25. The Monument ones were taken right next to the Stuart tombstone. I looked at it every time we passed it thinking it would be a great photo setting. It was.

4th Annual Fairy Fest 2008
My niece came over at 10:30. Told her I wanted to leave around 11:00. We had a whole year to finish her costume and, needless to say, I guess she thought I could work miracles in half an hour. We got to the fest around 2. There were at least 10 other dark fairies! Too cool.
