Looks like a really good book! :) I'm intrigued by the chapter on Merope and her so-called Redemption. I'd be interested in how they came to the conclusion that she was redeemed since she died rather than take care of her child. Plus she never told her family or Tom Riddle's family about Tom, and his life at the Orphanage just wasn't that great - obviously. Dumping him there isn't exactly redemption, but maybe they feel that just staying alive to give birth was her salvation?

Edit: Perhaps she did tell the father, Tom, but I don't think he believed her. I'll have to check my book on that one.

I think that he probably did know she was pregnant. From something Dumbledore said, I think when Riddle Sr. Told people he was hood winked they thought Merope pretended she was pregnant so that Tom would marry her.

Dumbledore thought she stopped giving him the love potion after she was pregnant thinking the child would make him stay.
