That book rocked. Salinger rocks. You read the nine stories too?

ahhhhh... I used to be obsessed with Salinger. And Kesey. Kesey just died this year tho.
Any of the Beat writer's were awesome, like Ginsberg and Kerouac. You ever read Kerouac's "On The Road"? If not, I highly recommend it. A book that changed the face of 20th Century man.

That's funny because I just checked it out from the library and it's next on my list to read after I finish franny and zooey, which i'm reading for the second time.

hahaha...the great salinger awakening...the funny thing about salinger is he doesn't make you think of anything you haven't thought of before. this is especially true if you are either very bright or very dumb.

but everyone can "identify".

ahhhh...what a great writer.

salingers awesome. i read a thing his daughter wrote. it was kind of stupid. she was talking about her dad being the guy who catches the kids falling off the cliff when theyre playing in the rye, and shes like "where are the parents of these kids? why were they playing so close to the cliff?" some people are just too stupid for me.

another great nw author is thom jones.
