Saying stuff like this makes me a little irritated.
I mean, we all have problems. Some are more tragic than others but I dont think if we try to compare them (not that you are comparing them) to other's problems - that we should degrade ourselves by calling our problems as petty. They are "different" and still have to be faced up to.
All problems are a source of internal growth - large or small. So, I think problems are never petty, but just obsticles to growth.

You're right, in general. I prefaced this with "Note to self" because where I am right now, what I need to do to bring balance into my life is to escape my own little melodramatic perceptions of my life. I would never think of devaluing a person's problems by comparing them to someone else's (there's ALWAYS someone who's better off and someone who's had it worse), but I felt the need to give myself a little reality check.
