Okay, well... I love water. Drink gallons of it every day, but I do know that it can be hard to (kind of ) train yourself to like it. And yes, there will most likely be headaches and other things when you start drinking more water, but that is a good thing - those headaches are all the nasties disappearing from your system (and of course, the best thing I find for headaches now is to drink more water). It will get easier the more you drink, until, like me you'll never be able to get enough of it. :)
As for aspartame - try and reduce your intake, if not stop it altogether. I know a lot of the internet stuff is reactionary and weird, but seriously, aspartame is not good for you. It has been linked to early onset parkinsons and various other things. Funnily enough, regular full fat coke is much better for you (check the ingredients, there are barely any), especially if you don't drink much.
I don't mean to come across all religious about this, but I think it's so important...
