First Snow

Today we had our first snow. It looks impressive, but it was short-lived.

Thanks. Our building was built in 1928, the largest apartment building in the world at the time (1600 apartments). It is built around this courtyard, and it is true, the snow dresses it up nicely. Our living room faces south over the courtyard (we can hear the sound of running water in the summer) and the bedroom faces north over 24th street (car alarms, fire trucks, that sort of thing!).
