Not sure if I should do a big purge and try to get the list small enough that I can read it in an hour or two a week, or just hiatus and see what, if anything, I miss.

I find it interesting that outside of those that suggest a "brat" phase, there's not really any official scientific subdivisions in the "juvenile" canid phase. PNG is clearly not fully mature yet - he's got more than ten pounds to put on, he's still teething molars, and his longbone spurt hasn't even started yet.
