Huwha? Kindles don't work in cold? Mine's been fine. Of course, cold here means in the 40's (brrr!)

One more reason to love Cali -- constant Kindle access.

Kindle screens freeze and crack at 14 degrees....it got to 13 last night.

Ehhhh....

I bought a Kindle DX for displaying approach plates while flying. Having the screen crack in flight would be bad, m'kay.

The cockpit gets pretty cold, even with the heater on full, but I don't think it gets THAT cold.... Still, I'll keep that in mind.

14 degrees is the minimum storage temp...41 is the lowest operating temp, but the screen gets slowwwwww to refresh round 45 or so degrees is what I've read.
