The Over-30 Survey!
A survey for people over 30.
Tired of all of those surveys made up by high school kids?! (i.e. "Have you ever kissed someone? Missed someone? Told someone you loved them? Drank alcohol?")
35 questions for the people who are a little older. (Um, 30 is only a "little" older -30 is still a kid, but I'll play along anyhow)
1. What bill do you hate paying the most?
Definitely the internet service bill....those fees for broadband are outrageous for the customer service available in a crisis.
2. Where was the last place you had a romantic dinner?
House of India
3. What do you really want to be doing right now?
Skipping work and riding my motorcycle
4. How many colleges did you attend?
One. Bradley University in Peoria, IL. Dropped out half way through my freshman year.
5. Why did you choose the shirt that you have on right now?
It's my band's logo t-shirt.
6. What are your thoughts on gas prices?
While I dislike them being as high as they are, I'm one of the few that thinks America is very lucky (or very crazy) for having the lowest gas prices in the world....or, Always remember to buy gas in MO before heading to IL.
7. First thought when the alarm went off this morning?
Woke well before the alarms this morning at 6:30...couldn't sleep any longer.
8. Last thought before going to sleep last night?
Wishing the dog would give me back my space on the bed.
9. Do you miss being a child?
Not at all.
10. What errand/chore do you despise?
yard work.
11. Get up early or sleep in?
One should rise with an urgency as if there were snakes in the bed.
12. Have you found real love yet?
My wife is the best!
13. Favorite lunch meat:
Ham
14. What do you get every time you go into Wal-Mart?
A stern lecture from the wifey on the evils of the bad place.

Lake, any day.
16. Do you think marriage is an outdated ritual?
Only if you follow the outdated rituals.

18.What famous person would you like to have dinner with?
Joss Whedon.

I've had a couple of minor accidents...mainly emergency stop pile-ups, but then there was that little fawn I hit on my motorcycle once.

Nope.

22. Strangest place you have ever brushed your teeth?
someone else's bathroom while visiting?

A What? Not really...I used to in Michigan, but haven't found that same sort of bond with anyone outside of my wife since moving to MO.
27. Are you where you want to be in life?
Mainly....would like a better job, but can't complain in this economy...I've supposedly got the #1 career in America. Unfortunately, a different career is going to require a rather significant lifestyle change for the poorer.
28. Growing up, what were your favourite cartoons?
Jetsons, Flintstones, He-Man
29. What about you do you think has changed the most?
I'm much more outgoing and able to be present in the moment in a large gathering.
30. Looking back at high school were they the best years of your life?
Probably...IMSA rocked pretty hardcore.
31. Are there times you still feel like a kid?
Not really...except when I get really excited about something new.
32. Did you ever own troll dolls?
just one that sat on top of my pencil.

Definitely had multiple pagers throughout my career....haven't worn one in 7 years, though.
34. Where was the hang out spot when you were a teenager?
The lake.
35. Were you the type of kid you would want your children to hang out with?
Definitely...I was wayyyyy too uptight and straight-laced to do anything "wrong".
