A second casting call for The Last Airbender will be held on February 7th in Philadelphia, from 10AM to 4PM at the Independence Hall Visitor Center. ORGANIZATION TIME

(I'd make a separate post of my own for this, but this seems to be where we're all congregating, sooo. If you folks want to draw attention to this comment in some way it'd be greatly appreciated! ♥)

Are you coming to the protest on February 7th? If so, here's a final roundup of information of what's happening and what to plan on.

1. When you come, please come to the corner of 6th Street and Market Street in Philadelphia. This may be obvious, but I just want to make sure we're all on the same page! I'll be there as close to 10 a.m. sharp as possible, so if you show up early on you can look for me: I'll be a kinda heavyset white lady in her late twenties, in a long brown coat with a fuzzy hood, with a long brown ponytail, and probably carrying a lot of posterboard and looking frazzled. 6. Let's be good citizens. All of aang-aint-white's advice in the main body of this entry is excellent. Please take heed of it. Above all else, we want to be sure that we are polite, peaceful, and respectful, and that we do not interfere with traffic -- vehicular or pedestrian -- or anyone's ability to do their jobs. If you are approached by the press, be cooperative and answer them as clearly, concisely, and sensibly as possible. If someone approaches you with questions about what the issues are and what we're doing, please take time to talk with them, civilly and conscientiously! But certainly don't confront anyone in an aggressive way, and if someone else confronts you or makes a negative comment, don't engage. Something like "I'm sorry you feel that way" and ending the conversation there should suffice ( ... )
