It sounds A LOT like Explosions in the Sky, which I'm sure you're fully aware of. I'm impressed with your technical skill on the guitar, it's really good. You might try making the sound-quality of the drum a little bit softer because it's very sharp and stands out quite a bit, which I actually like, but for experimentation's sake, I'd be curious to hear what it's like with the drum blended in a little bit more. Great job.
By the way, I'm coming home next weekend so we should hang out.

I'm delighted to hear you liked it, and I really appreciate the feedback. I never delete my project files in case I get a suggestion or inspiration to experiment with post-production editing later on.

And by "next weekend" I hope you mean the first weekend in March, and not the weekend in two days, because I'm going to be gone this coming weekend. The weekend after that I should be around though. What's the occasion for coming home?

You'll be even more delighted to hear that your song was stuck in my head earlier today.
Next weekend, i.e. the first weekend in March, I'll be coming home because my mom has tickets to the ballet and I would like to go. But, also, because I'll be doing that meditation retreat for near the entirety of Spring Break, I figure I should sneak in a little Vancouver time now.
