Timbaland debuted the first single from his forthcoming "Shock Value II" today (Oct. 16) on Ryan Seacrest's website. The synth and bass heavy "Morning After Dark" features the seductive vocals of French-American singer SoShy (recently signed to Timbaland's Mosley Music Group) and a laid back, autotune-infused performance by Timbaland.
As on "Shock Value I," Timbaland collaborates with a diverse selection of artists this time around including Justin Timberlake, Daughtry, The Fray, Gucci Mane, Drake, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, T-Pain, Chris Brown, Keri Hilson, All-American Rejects, Brandy and Nickelback. The new album will be released November 24 on Blackground/Interscope. Other tracks will include "Carry Out" featuring Timberlake.
Timbaland released the single amidst a varied range of other recent projects like the new "Beaterator" music game due September 29 for Sony PSP. The multitasking Timbaland also lent his expertise to Dr. Dre's new "HP ENVY 15 Beats" PC, and produced Shakira's new single "Give It Up To Me," featuring Lil Wayne, which premiered yesterday on ryanseacrest.com.
