I'm not discouraged by little setbacks. They just get my back up and make me harder to live with.

Only a writer of your caliber could write a description of a heart attack that would leave me totally engrossed LOL.

I can't even tell you how happy I am to hear you pass through the ring of fire and make it out the other side. You have affected thousands of peoples' lives through your writing, so you can bet there are thousands of people out there who care about you and your well-being. <3 I'm totally going to SDCC and D*C this year as well, so I'll be sure to come find you and show you how happy I am you're alive!

I was lucky enough to meet you at the Lexington book signing and was shocked to hear of the events that took place shortly after. I am thrilled to hear you're recovering (and--not going to lie--so eager to write). I'll conitnue to keep you and your family and friends in my thoughts and prayers as you continue healing.

Thanks for the kind words. And I'm really glad that the Lexington, Chicago, and Kansas City signings, at least, came off without drama being detectable by the attendees.

I haven't seen you in so long that I had no idea so much was going on. Please let me know if there's anything I can do to help.

Will do. But for right now I think I'm going to concentrate on having nothing more go on for as long as possible...
