about the Padme thing she remembered her foster or whatever mom, it was padme she remembers

I think I missed exactly what you're trying to say there.
Luke asked Leia if she remembers her real mom, the one who gave birth to her. Leia says yes, that she does and then tells us that she was beautiful but kind of sad. How could she remember that if her real mom died giving birth to her? She would never have known her.

::falls over laughing:: Well that was amusing even if half of the star-wars crap went over my head. On the whole Dark Side thing, it sounds just like the Dark Arts in Hp. It is assumed that just because a person does dark arts they must be evil. It is so evil that they won't even teach it at Hogwarts. They teach you about them, how to try and defend yourself from it, but not actually how to do it. DADA class is more like Defense Against "Dark" Creatures if anything. Though based on the description of Dark Arts in the books it just sounds like the "Dark Arts" are more emotion oriented than the magic learned at Hogwarts. That's why in order to use the Crutacious curse you really have to have an immense loathing of the target in order for it to have any impact.
