I think the main problem is that people expect 'the world' to live by our rules. That's not the way it works. We are so busy judging non-christians by our rules, and even christians by our personal rules that we turn people off of Jesus

I think some of what we need in the church is a revival of love and kindness. People loving on people for no reason. People being kind for no reason. People doing for others for no pay and for no recognition.
I have always felt that a sin (besides what is spoken against in the Bible) is something that comes between a person and God. Something that hinders that relationship and somethign the holy spirit convicts of. Sometimes somehtign can be a sin for one person and not for someone else. I personally think that some music, media, or situations are sinful for me because they take my heart from God. I think the real sin is when people dont love God completly put him above EVERYTHING. For me (for example), drinking is somehting that gets between me and God, so even though it is not spoken against in the bible I feel it is a sin for me. Christians need to learn that not everyone will have the same boundaries and lines. Somehting that may seem totally arbitrary to one person may be a perfectly good boundary for another. Also the bible does tell us to make sure we don't lead our brother (or sister) into sin. We need to be careful to not impose our personal boundaries on others or make them feel as htough they need to cross theirs just

I also think a lot of people are wrong in their belief that reading Harry Potter is sinful.
