Please forgive what may seem as rather untimely words...
But please tread this path fearfully, if at all.

During my lifetime I have at points had all those viewpoints. I am probably currently complimentarian....but I may be a mix of several. Its an area conceptually that I deal with a lot.

Well this is my question for those who think women are to be subordinate to men -- in your mind, what is the relationship between men and women in heaven? If you believe women are equal in status/rank in the kingdom of heaven, does that affect your view of their relationship on earth? Or, if you believe women remain subordinate to men in the next life, from where do you obtain that belief?

I am redeemed by His blood, and therefore sickness is not in my body.

This is not an attack on your belief system, but...

If that's the case then you should not die a physical death. Body deterioration by age is a form of sickness. I went to a Word of Faith church for awhile, always with my guard up when I began hearing certain things like that. The pastor always bragged that his spiritual grandfather was Kenneth Copeland. Then he began telling the congregation that we were gods -- and that was my last Sunday there.

I recommend very careful discretion and discernment when listening to Kenneth Copeland. Very careful.

I agree - look how many people preach that Christians shouldn't get sick and see how many of them are deteriorating in body (grey hair, wrinkles)

I also have similar issues with "claiming your healing" when we're supposed to limp around saying "praise Jesus, I'm healed" Funny. I remember the man that Jesus healed got up and went running and leaping. Sorry, but a limp isn't a healing no matter how much you believe it in your head :P

aaron, i am appalled that some folks here would take it upon themselves to offer you words of caution that you didn't ask for.

still, i'm sure they mean well.

As for my part, if your situation still warrants it, I promise to think happy thoughts and offer up my prayers and incenses for the clarity you need to come regarding this gal.

If you could handle her for three days, and she could handle you and she's still willing to "wait for direction" then it sounds like you've at least found a decent candidate.

I will say no more now. Happy thoughts and prayers are being lifted up on your behalf. Pray for me, and I'll pray for you. (see recent posts for my prayer needs, oh and thanks for your "happy thoughts" if at all they were involved on behalf of getting our dream house! we're in now. thank you!)
