What are some things that you really hate about churches? What are some things that you love?
What makes a good church good? And one that needs improvement bad?
I would especially like to hear from people who are not church people...but everyone that is interested please reply.

they are a loaded cannon, subject to all the normal ills of any other organized (or un-organized) movement - corporate power struggles and fakeness, as well as great potential and wonderful moments...
What makes a good church good is its willingness to acknowledge the above, and treat its people accordingly...as normal human beings who need real encouragement and authenticity, not the illusions thereof.
One that pretends to be these things but is really a pretty smokescreen for hypocrisy, gossip, and turning a blind eye will find itself falling apart but with the appearance of having it altogether. falling apart from the inside. unprepared for the attacks from the outside. mmmmm. much like a normal human being who does the same in their own personal life. much like all of us, i guess, some time or some place.
good questions.
