When I get married, my wife must be quick on the uptake. I mean, someone who's sharp, independent, and frankly brilliant.

This all stems from an irritating conversation with someone who is just...whiny, frustrating, and just plain nuts!

I'm glad you like my interpretation...just don't blame me for the slap, you'll have earned it all on your own. I'd suggest a more indirect approach - if you think she's an idiot, simply don't propose...then you won't get slapped.
