I got that promotion I mentioned a long while back. Acting Assistant Manager...of the Massapequa store. I start there on tuesday at 10:30AM. I'm going to get a raise of indeterminate number, as well as keys to the store and a lot more responsibility ( Read more... )

Perhaps you could get compensation for travel? That's what most people I know do when they have to travel to another store.. Especially if they need you. Easier to argue that way ;)

I'm gonna try to get all of that worked into the raise. If I can come home with almost double what I am now I'll be good for the time being. Money can go into the bank, money can be used for clothes (I still need to buy a good suit - every guy has to have one), and I can hopefully get my life in order. LOL I'm gonna try this out for a week or so, but if it doesn't work out then I'm gonna see about moving into a store closer to home. I'm gonna keep everyone posted, of course. Should be fun though :)
