It's 5:13am and I just finished my homework for Advanced Analog Integrated Circuits. I spent about 25 hours on that assignment, and I should have spent more. This class is much more difficult than I expected (in fact, it's the hardest class I've ever taken). Both of my parents turned down fellowships at UC campuses to attend Stanford. Today, after a week of painful indecisiveness, I came to the same decision.

I'm so relieved to know where I'll be next year. And excited that it's Stanford. Now I can go do homework and think about something else for the first time in a few months.

It's been a very uneventful winter break. I had some stuff I wanted to get done but I wasn't nearly ambitious enough and my projects took very little time to finish. Last night I felt compelled to clean up my bookmarks. I had perhaps 150 bookmarks which were mostly outdated or no longer useful. I ended up deleting the vast majority of them. Taking the GRE is a soul-destroying experience. Among other things, it makes you wonder why they charge $130 for the test and then treat you like an inmate.
