Today I actually have a day off, and I'm not sure why I'm awake writing this when I could be in bed sleeping, but for some reason, once I woke up this morning I couldn't get back to sleep. Writing entries always takes a lot of energy out of me, so maybe I'll become tired again and then I can fall asleep for another two hours or so.

I feel as if I should be writing more. When the band first started, I used to keep a paper journal. It was brown, leather-bound. The pages are faded now, wrinkled around the edges from use. I started writing in pencil, but that smudged, and I haven't written anything in pencil since. I'm not sure why I prefer pens. Maybe it's the permanence ( Read more... )
