i'm sure you will absolutely love it. read the long and grandiose introductory pages and i suspect you will fall in love, too. i got side-tracked from reading it over the weekend, and am excited to pick it up again.
did you really watch it three times in a row? that's great! i think it's quite perfect myself. paul thomas anderson is amazing. if you haven't seen magnolia yet, i would highly recommend it.
i am going to start writing more letters, especially when school starts and i think i need to add you to my list of people i need to write.
i have not seen magnolia. a few different people keep telling me to see it. i am rebellious, but i am sure i will see it sometime, maybe soon.
i never made it to the library. so, i bought a.h.w.o.s.g. while i was in california last week. i have read halfway through it, and it is really great. after getting bits of it here and there, and now reading straight through, it is not what i expected. not worse, and not better, just different than what i thought. it is good to read.
i would like it if you wrote to me from school. you will need my address then, wont you?

oh, sorry for just randomly posting a comment. i found your journal by accident and a.h.w.o.s.g. is one of my favorite books so i felt compelled to share the goodness that is dave eggers.
aaron, yesterday i went to pages for all ages to pick up a copy of that book for my friend sam for his birthday (i recently finished re-reading it for the third time and i CAN'T GET OVER IT). and they had: zero copies. not only THAT, but they didn't have any copies of the other book i came to get (for myself): HARRIET THE SPY.
what a sad story. especially after my uplifting story about finding the wonder that is the esteemed mr. eggers. all is forgiven, however, when we take into acount that:
a) you have reminded me about harriet spy, a book that i had all but forgotten about (& what a shame it would be to forget about childhood books, especially those involving young spies of any sort.)
and
b) "pages for all ages" is the best name for a bookstore ever, ever.
p.s. i have been reminded of your writing on several nonconsecutive occasions while reading a.h.w.o.s.g.
