Packed the car today, with it about 4/5th packed it drove to long beach and back today no problems. The first few days of this trip will be the hardest getting over the grapevine, the Sierra-Nevada range, and the Rockies will be harrowing with the load we are carrying. Tomorrow we head to my grandparent's house in Los Banos. We should leave around

I know this is a late response...but I felt so many of the same things when I left southern California over two years ago. For the longest time after I got here, I'd say I was from southern California, because I missed it dearly. Now I don't miss it at all, and occasionally say that I'm from Oklahoma City - just for grins, but I did live there in between point A and point B. And now that I'm loving Colorado, but faced with the prospect of leaving again (this is hush hush, for now)? I don't even know what to think.

Hey thanks for the kind words, it was really difficult to leave, but now that I am in Wilmington I am rather enjoying it, I am going to start subbing soon in the Newcastle county school districts and Christine and I are already starting to look at apartments.

It's usually hard to leave. I haven't seen much of Delaware, but I generally love the eastern seaboard. Best wishes to you moving forward...I'll check in now and then :)
