So I have been here in Wilmington for just about six weeks. It has been pretty fun I haven't had a television in about two years and when we moved here every room had one, Chris and I had to move it out of our bedroom but we still have one in our living room, this is very strange for me I haven't seen this much television ever. I really like Life on Mars, but I feel so guilty about it. The show is so fucking typical, and it’s sad when it attempts to be original. My favorite example of this is the relationship between the protagonist and Harvey Keitel. It’s your classic hard nose Lieutenant versus the detective that “doesn’t play by the rules” relationship. Only, in this case, as you know, the detective plays by the rules and his boss is the loose cannon. It’s just so fucking lazy, if you ask me. It’s like the whole time travel thing is just a ploy to keep us from noticing how fucking unoriginal the whole mess is, right down to the put upon woman who would be capable of so much more if only she had came of age in a more progressive time. Ple-ase! Having all of that been said, I love the show. I really don’t understand. I’m starting to like crap, I think. You can check out my latest MySpace blog for more evidence to that effect.

Ha! Too True! Yeah I still just enjoy the idea of a NYC with parking. I think the performances of everyone on the show (except the lead he seems a little wooden) are incredible and honestly a lot of my love for the show comes from seeing Harvey Keitel kick ass. Anyway the Cosby kid (whose hawt) is what got me to watch the show in the first place and now she is gone :*(

She's gone? I got the impression that they were going to some how interject her into the action every week.

Well its not like they have her naked in the hallway like the free spirit neighbor. Although I sure wish they did.

I'm glad there's a good hotel in La Junta, because there sure isn't much else there! (It's one on a long list of places I only know because they are in my assigned airspace.)

I tell everyone...tell me when you're flying and the flight number so I can try to be on the right sector...or have my friends say hello if I can't be there :)
