I'm willing to bet, as an obsessed Mansonite at the age of sixteen, that you just outgrew him. I remember the people who were my age now saying they hated him back then.

Everyone listns to Marilyn Manson when they're a teenager, it's pretty much a requirement. Then they outgrow him. He never outgrows himself, which I think is a real pity.

Ah well, all teenagers need to be idiots at that point in their lives, and he gives them a relatively good outlet for it.

The thing I miss about Manson is he used to have a really good sense of humor about himself. It's faded in recent years, however, as he has faded from the spotlight; I think he's one of those celebrities who thrives on attention and little else.
