Yeah, it also forces candidates to look at relatively small groups of swing voters like hispanics in New Mexico, but you could go precinct by precinct rather than state by state and still allow small cities and swing voters to have a say (i.e., Democratic primaries). But the real problem is that electors aren't legally bound to vote the way the people of their state choose, and as our country spirals farther and farther into a fascist state, that worries me. And... yeah, fascism sucks
