It didn't occur to me, that people would eat corn in any other way other than on the cob. Changed that in the original entry.
Is the corn sweet, or not sweet? By sweet, i mean literally sugary sweet, hated that sweetness.
Most corns i had were not sweet, and i prefer them that way. Over here they use such corn for feeding animals, and they use the sweet corn for human consumption. Only been to one open air market, and that is what every corn seller was doing.
They applied boiling, than butter and salt. It does taste good, but there are many different and interesting ways to have it. Boiling was done in Syria, the corn seller had a moveable cart, with a boiling pot contraption with corn inside. In pakistan, you get boiling (rare), sand (common) and coals (common). Was wondering if there were other ways people had.

On the cob, we pretty much always eat sweet corn. I don't find it sugary sweet, but I guess I'm used to it.
How do you cook corn in sand?
