is it an ordeal to book it? I mean, other than the money?
it doesn't make a bit of difference to me. we might as well do it soon; the billing period for Discover just started. :)

I guess you didn't understand my question, or that it was a real question. like, do we all have to be in the same place at the same time, do we have to answer lots of crazy questions? why does it have to be all organized and planned ahead?

We don't all have to be in the same place at the same time and answer crazy questions. We could sign up online except we need to book two rooms so it'd be better to do it over the phone.
We were also thinking that money was the issue for booking it earlier. I'd like to limit the amount of money being borrowed and I thought waiting a few more weeks would help that.
And finally, we aren't really having everything all organized and planned out. So far it's just been the basics.

that sounded sassy. I have no idea what's going on.

Okay, I think that I am going to have to borrow a LARGE amount of money if you book it in what? 2 weeks? Yeah, I only have $114.89 in my bank account. I know that my parents won't give me any money. I am aloud to go but with no financial help, besides maybe some cruise clothes. I can try to get as much money as possible in that time but I will have to borrow some money and pay it back probably in a couple months.

I just want to get my GED before looking for a job so that I can get a decent one. It will be a month or 2 before I even get all my testing done and results back. I am pretty sure that I will pass my first time though haha.

Ok, don't get mad now because you know I love you. But I can't imagine you getting a job after you get the GED, if you are looking to work at camp or the corps for the summer...there aren't very many places who'll hire you for just that short of a time. You should really start looking for a job now, even if it's just a small one. At least you can start making money now instead of asking Laura or Amy to wait indefinitely. It might be better to pay them back in small amounts anyway, so they feel like they're getting paid back. Not that anyone would doubt you'd pay them back, it just doesn't feel good to be waiting and waiting! Remember when I took out a loan from the Bank of Laura? I took way too long to pay it back and it definitely put a strain on our relationship. ha!

But don't worry, it'll work out! :D I am just saying I think you should look for a job now instead of waiting. :)

I am not mad at all. I understand. I also thought that I understand that you all knew my priorities. With my class schedule I am not capable of getting a job. No one will hire me if I can only work weekends. I will try I guess. If it is that big of a deal maybe it would be easier if I just don't go, then you would only have to get 1 room. Anyway, like I said, I am not mad. I will see where I can squeeze some money out of family members before friends. Oh, and what is the limited amount, 50 bucks? I have never not paid back anyone.

I still want to go. But if money is that big of an issue I might just need to pass it up.

No no, we still want you to go! I think the way you wrote it before it made it sound like there was some other reason you were waiting to get a job, like that you thought you could get a better one with a GED. Anyway, I still think it would be best if you could find a job - don't overdo it or anything, but I really think you can find time! :) Especially just at like Meijer, they would probably hire you for just a couple days a week, I would think - it doesn't have to be a huge amount of money, just something to get you started on paying it back. Obviously work isn't really FUN, but I think you'd be a lot happier with yourself, not having to owe people and stuff (you won't really want to be giving your first two entire paychecks to Laura this summer!). Trust me on that - it seems like it's going to be terrible, taking so much time to do stupid work, but it feels a lot better in the long run ( ... )
