I haven't read any of the books you cite, and I'm still not sure exactly what I believe. But I have felt that pull from deep to deep. I've felt the universe's mechanisms slide perfectly into place, and I have sensed that yes, this is that person for me.
I felt that with Andrew before we ever started dating, and even later, when things seemed dark and hopeless and all the portents seemed to warn me away from him, there was something in me that kept going back and insisting (against reason and good advice) that this was where my future lay. I've felt it again since. Listening to that "small, still voice" has led to the most important things I've ever done, and to blessings greater than I could have imagined.
It sounds cheesy to call things like this "destiny," but I have felt its workings in my life, and I believe that our deepest wisdom will sometimes guide us against reason and logic.
I hope whatever struggles you're facing, you'll be able to find that kernel of truth and wisdom, and let it guide you through.
