You know what is decidedly odd?

...going 24 (almost 25) years as an only child and then having siblings one day.  Well, siblings-in-law, anyway.  Even odder is having been acquainted with said siblings-in-law for nearly nine years....and not really knowing them at all.  A very odd feeling indeed.  And kind of awkward, really.  What does one do about such things?

Steve Carell seems to be going the correct route for comedy - he's getting classier, and toning down on most of his excess, while really embracing that he's good at awkward characters and slightly more intelligent humor than his old counterparts (see: 40 year old virgin for an example of what I feel he's really moving away from)

And how! The only scene that I felt was too over the top was the airplane bathroom escape attempt (the crossbow was too much. Can't you just use the damned pocket knife?!). Otherwise, I thought the movie did an excellent job of capturing the dry slapstick that was the crowning achievement of the Get Smart series.
