Anita found the book about to fall off of the shelf. At first when she picked it up she didn't think anything about it. Then she noticed the name was new and the publication date.
She sat down trying to make herself comfortable as she started reading. She had to know if everyone was okay, what was going on. She was happy here, that wasn't in doubt, but she would never feel right about leaving those she cared about behind. If this was the only way she would know, then she would just have to deal. As she opened the book she wondered if she would want to go back. Once she wouldn't have hesitated in saying yes, but now...well now it was very different.
