He'd kinda misplaced his girlfriend who was the key part of this whole arrangment.
He'd been to her hut and she was already gone. He'd checked the Compound, checked out her typical outdoor haunts, and seriously where could a chick be on Christmas? He was makign his way back around and coming up to the Compound when he finally saw her, and unable to help himself, his face split into a grin.
"Heeeeeey, I think I have a breakfast date with you, even if I didn't...actually...tell you. Anyway, yeah, I'm making you eat at my place. Surprise."

"Merry Christmas." She smiled. "And what is in this surprise breakfast?"

"But yeah, I figured it was time I ditched the planned dates and started just springing them on you. Your less prepared that way and I can take advantage of your shock." That sounded kinda creepy, he'd better change the subject. "But, I have waffles. Kinda. They taste like waffles, but the shape is a little off just to warn you. More like...roffles. Retarded waffles. And some hashbrowns, but they might be a little cold cuz I've been looking for you forever, so let's go before animals tunnel into my place and eat it themselves."

"Take advantage of my shock? Now what could you possibly have in mind with that statement?" She smirked slightly as she leaned in a bit closer.
"So roffles? Well that doesn't sound too bad. I mean it doesn't matter what they look like as long as they taste good." Presentation was nice, but there were times when you couldn't exactly worry about it. She still thought they were pretty lucky to have what they did.
