So here is my conundrum:

I could go to spain for 10 days, and have a wicked good time.
but it's over Lionel Hampton.

what should I do/which should I pick?

well, as a member of the group, i say you're a bass and we really need our basses.

as a friend, i say you'll probably have more fun in spain.

what good does it do the know how to scat when my intonation sucks (I'm not sure though that it was just me who was flat yesterday - it might have been a little more complicated than that) and my time is not so cracking?

too late. I picked Lionel Hampton, much to the dismay of my rabbi and my hebrew school teacher.
