Wow. I'm sorry if it's a delicate question, but do you mind me asking what inspired this?

A man in my family (my second uncle, but our entire family is close)died of cancer, the doctors said he "died in his sleep" and I suppose I just had a bitter feeling towards the phrase which developed into what I wrote.
