Publishing is stressful

I really have no idea what I'm doing. Regardless, I have eight lit mags I'm going to submit various short stories to. There are three lit agents I'm going to contact about LD, and I've compiled a list of about five publishers I'll contact about the three novels I'll be editing. Wow, that does not sound fun at all, I've always heard with writing that you need something to fall back on until the writing picks up. You can try being an editor of a newspaper or writing a column, I hope these help. I wish you luck Jessa. Keep me posted. :)

most publishing houses don't want simultaneous submissions

Ignore that. Most publishing houses appreciate that they take so flamin' long to reply that you'd be in your seventies before you had a book out. It's FINE to sim-sub a novel all over the place, with the condition that you let the others know if you get a bite.
