So I just watched Jamie Presley (or however you spell her name) on Conan. And she was talking about the DIFFERENT SOUTHERN DIALECTS and how she utilizes them in her show. Then she was explaining the difference between Georgia and Tennessee and Texas and South Carolina

Haha, that's very true. People at home area always like, 'So do you hear the Boston accent everywhere?' and the answer is no, I really only hear it when the painters and mechanics are yelling at each other, haha.

ugh, the "Southern" accent thing kills me though. In most cases, you can tell at least what region someone is from. Like, Texans clip the "ing"s off the ends of their words. In Tennessee you change any O at the end of a word to an A (like mirra or piana). In Louisiana you scoop the middle of the words while in Georgia you draw everything out.
