This is amazing. I'm sure I will now find myself at times trying to think about what didn't happen, and how things could be different. Wow.

Yeah, it's amazing, but also it's very normal. I guess that everything is amazing and whatnot. I think it's kind of interesting that you're the only person who has commented on this journal entry. I guess that the people I know in real life didn't know what to make of this. We, as a species, are just so tuned in to identifying patterns and such that we completely overlook when things DON'T happen. It makes sense; it's necessary. If I'm out for a walk I'm much more likely to remember the 14 seconds where I exchanged smiles with a pleasing person than the 2425 seconds that I didn't ( ... )
