I'm sick. Just a headcold, but I'm waxing delirious, and have to work in the morning. And maybe it's the decongestants talking, but I'm experiencing an eldritch mix of being contented and at odds all at once... you ever feel that way? Like ambivalence taken to some ridiculous power?

I actually heard someone yell that out once at a buddy of mine in a wheelchair, as we held up traffic rolling across the street. I stopped to give said impatient dude some therapeutic sign language. A girl on MySpace just sent me a friend request, and said my picture looked cute. Hmm. Upon investigation, it turns out she was this random straight girl who... (yes, you see it coming, no?) assumed I was a dude. I didn't correct her, and let her flirt for a bit, then directed her to my profile and strangely never heard from her again...

I'm missing her today. Why does doing the right thing have to suck so incredibly much?
