Saw The Time Traveler's Wife tonight. I loved it. I didn't read the book and don't know if my reaction would have been different if I had, but I thought Rachel and Eric did awesome. I cried and I'm not much of a crier so that should tell you something.

I actually saw District 9 too and was pleasantly surprised. I think it was a realistic portrayal

It was sad! And I heard that too. It doesn't take much to make me happy though so even if I read the book I probably would still have liked the movie lol.

Exactly. I mean I thought the movie was amazing and even though I cried I probably would have liked it if I read the book.
I guess it really depends on the person.

Good to know that TTW and District 9 are good - I read TTW and it's amazing, I definitely recommend it. I've been wondering if District 9 was worth seeing...

Now that I've seen the movie I definitely want to read the book. I'm adding it to my list. :)

I had no intentions of seeing District 9, but my friend wanted to go. I was thoroughly entertained.

It needs to be March so bad right now. I get all excited for new shows to come back then I remember we have to wait forever for Chuck.

I hadn't heard much feedback beforehand because I didn't want to get too spoiled, then I was surprised by negative feelings about it. I'm a sucker for Romance movies though so maybe I'm biased.

Oh I want to see the Time Traveler's Wife so bad! I haven't read the book, yet, but the movie looks good on it's own.

I watch both those shows actually Supernatural is awesome, while I find that it has go down in the last season, it's still an awesome show (plus pretty man candy to look at, how could you go wrong?) And it's really cool especially if you're into like urban legends and well, supernatural stuff, lol.

True Blood is decent. I haven't watched the new season, but it seems that a lot of fans don't really like it, while others are obsessed? Maybe it depends on who you like/ship on the show. I personally don't think it's horrible and it was kind of bad crack in the first season and I couldn't stop. There aren't many episodes though of S1 so you could give that a try to see if it's any good, but I'd check out Supernatural for sure.

Thanks for the input! I always see a bunch of Supernatural animations and the show looks so fun. Plus, many candy is always good.

And I've kind of heard the same thing about True Blood. Maybe I'll start with that because there are a lot less episodes.
