Went to acupuncture school open house on monday, planning a trip to CA and Austin to see more schools, possibly doing the Eagle Hill medicinal wild plants workshop again at the end of the summer... Whew what a whirlwind!

What schools are you looking at?

So far I'm looking at Emperor's college and YoSan in CA, NESA in Boston, AOMA in Austin.
My visit to NESA was really interesting! You should check it out, they have an amazing clinic and herbal dispensary.

What scares me about going to a program like that is that it's better to go full time but that means a shit ton of loans will have to be taken out. Eeeek.

I need to get over my fear of taking out loans. But I still owe 14k from undergrad.

Yeah, the loads scare the buhjeezus out of me too! I'm not a huge fan of the commute to Boston either, but at least the school is really close to a T-stop.
I'm going to go back there for a treatment and herbal consult, they gave us vouchers for a free treatment at the open house, so I'm going to see how doing the train/T works out because driving was a bit of a nightmare. I'm really curious to compare it to the other schools I'm hoping to visit.
